What is CBD?
CBD is short for cannabidiol. What are Cannabinoids?

Is CBD a drug?

What is hemp seed oil?
Hemp seed oil is distinct from CBD oil. While CBD is produced by extracting the essential oils from the cannabis plant’s flowers, hemp seed oil is produced by pressing the plant’s seeds. Hemp oil is similar to other seed oils such as corn oil and sesame oil. Hemp oil does not contain cannabinoids such as CBD.
What is MCT oil?
MCT or medium chain triglycerides are derived from coconut oil and has been found beneficial for brain function and metabolism. We prefer our CBD drops in an MCT oil base for the light and clear consistency and taste.
What is the difference between CBD and hemp?
Hemp is a family of cannabis strains which are grown for food and fibers and contain less than .3% THC. CBD is a molecular compound found in the plant’s extracts. Our CBD is extracted from hemp.
What is the difference between CBD oil and hemp seed oil?
CBD oil is an essential oil extracted from the cannabis plant’s flowers. It contains beneficial cannabinoids and terpenes. Is your product safe?

What is the difference between hemp and marijuana?

Why should I choose CBD over medical cannabis?
Medical cannabis is another term for medical marijuana. Marijuana contains THC, which is a cannabinoid that causes a high. Medical cannabis can cause severe impairments. CBD is not psychotropic, meaning that it does not cause a high. It can be used while working, driving or undertaking any other physical activities such as exercise and sports. What does Broad Spectrum mean?
The term broad spectrum refers to CBD products that contain a selective grouping of beneficial cannabinoids but zero THC. Our capsules are broad spectrum.
What is Isolate CBD?
The term isolate refers to a CBD product that contains only CBD and not other cannabinoids. Our sublingual drops are made with nano emulsified CBD isolate.
Will I feel any effects from using CBD products?
Some of the effects reported by CBD oil users include improved mood, reduced stress and anxiety, increased attention and focus, pain relief and others. However, organic compounds such as CBD can produce different effects in different people. Your results may vary.
Can I overdose on CBD?

Is CBD oil legal? In all 50 states?
All of 406 CBD oil products are made from hemp, contain zero THC and can be shipped to all 50 U.S. states. However, CBD oil made from marijuana can only be purchased in states with medical marijuana programs.
Is CBD oil safe to carry through an airport?
Yes. Rest assured that full spectrum CBD can be transported on a plane. Authorities are not concerned with hemp CBD oil. They are concerned with interstate trafficking of marijuana and other drugs. Also, for this reason, drug-sniffing dogs are not trained to detect hemp CBD oil.
What are terpenes?

What is a CBD tincture?

The amount of CBD in 406 CBD's products varies from product to product. Please refer to the product label for exact concentrations of CBD in each product.
What is the ideal serving size?
The ideal serving size of CBD for each person depends on a wide range of variables, including the reason it is being used, the method of administration, sex, age, weight, diet, exercise and so on. It also depends on the product. Servings of 5 to 50 milligrams per day are commonly reported for health maintenance, mood enhancement and minor pain reduction. Higher servings, although not harmful, are not recommended unless being used to treat a particular disorder, in which case it is recommended that you consult with a qualified medical professional. We suggest starting with a low dose and working your way up to a higher dose gradually to find the right amount for you.
How often can I take CBD?
CBD can be taken multiple times each day, or at particular times of day, depending on the reason it is being used. CBD oil is also often administered upon onset of particular conditions such as an anxiety attack.
Are there any negative side effects?

Does CBD have a shelf life?

How should I store CBD products? Do I need to refrigerate?

Will CBD oil show up on a drug test?
No. Drug tests do not test for CBD. CBD cannot produce a false positive on a test designed to look for THC. As long as you’re using products which have all the THC removed, such as those produced by 406 CBD, and you are not using marijuana products, you will not fail a drug test.
Will CBD help me if I’m healthy?
Because of its ability to help the body maintain homeostasis, reduce inflammation and act as an antioxidant, CBD is often used as a health maintenance supplement.
Does CBD interact with other medications?
Studies have shown that CBD may affect the metabolism of certain classes of drugs, but effects have been shown to be minimal. Much more research needs to be done in this area. If you are taking prescription medications, consult with a qualified medical professional.
How long will it take to receive benefits from taking CBD oil?

Yes. 406 CBD's products are certified organic and contain other organically grown ingredients. All of our products are vegan-friendly, except for the softgels which contain kosher gelatin.
I have a gluten allergy. Can I use your products?
Yes. All 406 CBD's products are gluten-free.
Can I give my pet CBD?
Yes, CBD is safe for pets. Most customers use our natural unflavored tinctures for their pets. We do recommend that you consult with a veterinarian who is familiar with your pet and knowledgeable in the use of CBD oil in pet health. We give our dogs and cats CBD regularly.
What is the endocannabinoid system?
The human endocannabinoid system, or ECS, is a system of neurotransmitters and cell membrane receptors. Neurotransmitters such as endocannabinoids are produced by the central nervous system and interact with cannabinoid receptors on cell membranes to adjust physiological processes at a cellular level.
What is the entourage effect?
