Living the Sweet Life!




In my last 2 blogs, I went over Why Ingredients Matter and How to Spot Low-Quality CBD From 50 Paces. So, now that you know the essential aspects of CBD (good and bad) let's talk about the main reason we all love CBD so much.


CBD helps us live the sweet life. The kind of life where we can appreciate the little things that add meaning and joy to our days. By reducing stress, inflammation, and discomfort CBD makes it possible to enjoy this crazy ride we call life.

By "the sweet life", I don’t mean binging on your Halloween candy stash. (Save that for the trick or treaters!) There are other ways to add sweetness to your life that don’t directly correlate with sugar. I am talking about the kind of sweetness that fills your heart and inspires happiness and contentment. Like the cleansing feeling of taking a deep breath of crisp fall air or the instant joy of hearing a baby laugh.


CBD is just one wellness tool that helps me live the sweet life. There are many things that add sweetness to my life, but everyone is a little different so what I enjoy might be different than what adds sweetness to your life. Nonetheless, I have come up with a list of 5 things that add sweetness to my life. You can use these ideas for yourself or come up with your own list.



5 Ways to Add Sweetness to Your Life:


  1. Take a walk and get some fresh air. Find some open space and let yourself wander. I am lucky to live in Montana where I have great hiking right out of my back door.

  2. Do a short 20-minute Yin Yoga session. Nothing compares to the sweet feeling of a deep stretch.

  3. Laugh. Listen to comedians on Spotify or Netflix for a humorous break. You Tube some cat videos! Maybe set a timer for this activity so that you don’t accidentally lose 4 hours of your day.

  4. Listen to some great music. Whether it’s Mozart of Metallica, crank it up! Find some music that inspires you.

  5. Do something kind for others. Check-in on a friend or volunteer at a local charity or school.


All of these activities have been found to increase levels of dopamine and serotonin (feel-good hormones) and increase feelings of gratitude.
